The kissing and making up between Sammy Hagar and the Van Halen brothers is continuing.

Hagar, who served two stints as Van Halen’s frontman, makes a heartfelt apology for the harsh things he’s said about Eddie Van Halen and his drummer brother, Alex, in a new episode of Oprah! Where Are They Now that debuts at 10 p.m. ET Saturday (August 20) on the OWN Network.

During the interview, Hagar says he’s putting his issues with Van Halen “behind me, and I’m proud of what we did. So I’ve decided, forgive and forget…I just wanna be friends. I wanna say I’m sorry of anything I said bad about you.”

Hagar also says he’s not looking to reform the band but just wants to end the bad blood.
