A couple of notable guitarists are busting real estate moves during the week between holidays.
The New York Post reports that Steve Miller has put two of his homes on the market: his 13-acre spread in Ketchum, Idaho, with an 8,000-square-foot home, three guest cottages and a barn, for $16 million; and 39-acre waterfront estate on Washington state’s San Juan Island for $14.8 million.
Miller is spending most of his time in New York City these days, where he serves on the Board of Jazz at Lincoln Center and on the board of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Musical Instrument Department.
Slash, meanwhile, is a buyer rather than a seller; the Guns N’ Roses guitarist has purchased a 9,400-square-foot walled and gated home in Encino, California — with six bedrooms and 10 bathrooms — for $6.25 million. He recently sold his Beverly Hills home for $8.7 million.
