Peter Frampton is blasting back to the past a bit early next year. The guitarist will re-release his Grammy Award-winning 2006 album Fingerprints on Jan. 26 via his Phenix Phonograph label, making it available for the first time on vinyl.
The recording won the 2007 Grammy Award for Best Pop Instrumental Album and featured guest appearances by Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts and former Stones bassist Bill Wyman on the track “Cornerstones,” Pearl Jam members Mike McCready and Matt Cameron on “Blowin’ Smoke” and original Shadows members Hank Marvin and Brian Bennett on “My Cup Of Tea.” The Pearl Jam members also played on Frampton’s Grammy Award-nominated version of Soundgarden’s “Black Hole Sun.”
Frampton recently released a standalone single, “I Saved A Bird Today,” and is working on more new material ad lining up tour dates for 2018.
