The Eagles are flying again this fall. The group — which reunited this summer in the wake of co-founder Glenn Frey’s death during January of 2016 — has announced four new shows, starting October 17 at the Greensboro Coliseum in North Carolina, followed by October 20 at Philips Arena in Atlanta, October 24 at KFC Yum! Center in Louisville and October 27 at the new Little Caesars Arena in Detroit — Frey’s home town.

The Eagles also has a Sept. 30 date scheduled for Seattle after playing The Classic shows during July in Los Angeles and New York. The new dates will again feature Frey’s son, Deacon, and Nashville gunslinger Vince Gill joining Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit in the lineup, and Walsh tells us that trading licks with Gill has been pleasure so far: “Vince Gill has been a really good friend of the band for a long time, so we thought about having that kind of voice, and he grew up listening to the Eagles. Between you and me, it’s terrifying — he’s that good. But I make him nervous, too, so it works out really good. He plugged right in with the vocals and, of course, you know we’ve got a pretty good lineup across the front of the stage in terms of guitar players and it’s working really, really well.”

Tickets for the four new dates go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday [Aug. 19] with an American Express card member pre-sale starting Tuesday. VIP packages will also be available via www.Eagles.com.
