Clear the coffee table; AC/DC is bringing out something to put there. After putting out a lot of product over the years, from albums to beer, the iconic group has a new one coming — a book.
AC/DC group will publish “The Rock or Bust Tour Book 2015” early next year, a coffee table-sized “amazing photographic documentary of the band and fans in action” captured by official tour photographer Ralph Larmann. The 200-page book will also feature “amazing facts, figures and tour memorabilia” and will come in several configurations, including a deluxe, limited edition “Leather and Metal” version with a lighted slipcase.
In a statement, Mark Smith of Rufus Stone Limited Editions says that: “Creating this type of book with a band with the legacy of AC/DC is the dream project of Rufus. We are delighted to be able to produce an official book on behalf of the band and we’ve got a few surprises along the way to help make this a unique and special publishing event.”
AC/DC wrapped up its Rock Or Bust World Tour in October, with Guns N’ Roses Axl Rose subbing for sidelined frontman Brian Johnson and bassist Cliff Williams announcing his retirement. There’s no word on what the group has planned next.
